GREENSBORO, N.C., USA, Aug. 28, 2013 – Syngenta extends an invitation to corn growers who see an improved stand at harvest time following applications of Quilt Xcel®fungicide or Force®insecticide: Enter the “Most Efficient Harvest” photo contest (www.syngentaus.com/mostefficientharvest) for a chance to win a $500 Visa® gift card.
Entrants should submit photos comparing their corn treated with either brand (not necessarily both) to untreated corn. Along with the photos, entrants should also include descriptions of the benefits they have seen, such as harvest efficiency, reduced lodging and savings on fuel, labor and equipment costs.
The contest is open for submissions today through Nov. 29, 2013. A panel of Syngenta experts and crop experts will judge the photos and determine the winner, who will be named in early December.
An early (V4-V8) or R1 application of Quilt Xcel provides disease protection and other plant stress management benefits, including stronger, deeper root systems and stronger stalks, which improve nutrient uptake and reduce the risk of lodging.
