MINNESOTA DOUBLES ETHANOL CONTENT

Minnesota has just passed legislation that will double the content of ethanol in the state's gasoline supply from 10% to 20% by Aug. 30, 2013.

“This legislation is a win for everybody,” says Gene Sandager, Minnesota Corn Growers Association president. Minnesota currently has 13 operating ethanol plants that produce about 400 million gallons of ethanol a year.
