Clarion, Iowa, May 2010 – On May 1st Hagie Manufacturing Company of Clarion, Iowa announced the start of a new promotion that allows a non-Hagie owner a chance to try one of their sprayers for an entire season.
The Hagie Challenge is more than just an extended demo program. It documents the entire process from working with the salesmen to determine what sprayer is needed and selecting to correct options that best work with the operation. It also includes visiting the Hagie Manufacturing Company facility to see where and how his or her sprayer will be made. What truly makes this experience different from anything they have done in the past is Hagie will be following the machine from the day that it leaves the factory, through the season, until it is either purchased by the user or it is returned to the factory. During that time, they will be interviewing the operators of the machine, getting their opinion of the machine and how it works. This will all be reported back to the public on the official website, www.hagiechallenge.com. This will give other producers or customer application companies, who don’t own a Hagie sprayer, an idea what it is like.
For 2010, there are two participants in the Hagie Challenge. One is a producer in southern Minnesota the other is a cooperative in Southeast Iowa. Both will be using a new 2010 Hagie STS12 sprayer and will also have a Hagie NTB nitrogen application toolbar to use.
The Hagie Challenge is not ending at the end of the year. Hagie is going to continue the program in 2011 and are taking applications for producers and application companies interested in trying a Hagie sprayer themselves. Anyone interested in applying can do so online at hagiechallenge.com or at the Hagie Manufacturing Company booth at select farm shows and expos. Applications will be accepted through December 31st, 2010 and the participants for the 2011 Hagie Challenge will be announced in February 2011.
