LANDOLL TANDEM DISC

Landoll Corporation introduces the Model 6230 Tandem Disc. An aggressive 20° front gang angle and standard concavity blades with approximately 210 lbs. of weight per blade enable the unit to penetrate and mix tough residue while still doing an excellent job of finish discing.

The disc features maintenance-free bushings in high-wear areas that require no greasing, pivoting gauge wheels, walking tandems and cushioned gang hangers equipped with heavy-duty triple lip sealed bearings. It has a color powder coat paint that is new for Landoll. Sizes available range from 21-36 ft.

CASE IH EXTENDS PRECISION OPTIONS

The new Case IH AFS (Advanced Farming System) Pro 600 color monitor will be used with Case IH AccuGuide Systems to provide both curved and straight line guidance on the new Axial-Flow 7010 and 8010 Series combines as well as Magnum and Steiger tractors.

In addition to autoguidance, the AFS Pro 600 handles yield monitoring and mapping tasks on all Axial-Flow combine models. It can also be used in the spring on Case IH Early Riser 1200 Series planters to manage planter functionalities, such as maps for variable seed planting.

FARM ON SLOPES

When working on contour field conditions and hillsides, John Deere's new iGuide, an implement guidance system, helps to overcome implement drift. The new system is compatible with John Deere AutoTrac integrated vehicles with GreenStar 2 systems, except 9000 series tractors and tracked tractors.

“iGuide shifts the tractor to guide an implement over the correct path and automatically compensates for drift,” says Seth Crawford, manager, Marketing, AMS.
