Subsidy Payment Database Available

A searchable Internet database of government farm subsidy payment records is available to farmers through the Environmental Working Group (EWG).

Its purpose: to show to whom farm subsidy funds have gone. EWG maintains that two-thirds of the nation's farmers were bypassed entirely in regards to subsidy payments.

The database is free of charge. It includes 70 million records of farm subsidy checks sent from 1996 to 2000. View it at: www.ewg.org.
