    Storms and Flooding Cause Harvest Delays

    The past several days have been filled with news reports, photos and stories about the great flood across the upper Midwest this fall. Widespread flooding in a large area has occurred in southern Minnesota, northern Iowa, eastern South Dakota and western Wisconsin.     Corn Harvest Still Running Ahead of Normal

    The U.S. corn harvest continued to advance well ahead of the average pace last week as fast progress in the eastern Corn Belt offset the impact of rain delays in western growing areas. Soybean harvest also stayed ahead of the normal pace despite limited activity in the western Midwest.
