USDA Prepares For Farm Bill

USDA is actively preparing to implement programs and provisions that could be included in the next farm bill, according to Ag Secretary Ann Veneman.

The advance work is being done to ensure programs are available once a final bill reaches the President.

“We are preparing ahead of time as much as we can, even though we don't have a final bill,” Veneman says.
